Reports: TE Finley to visit Seahawks

Multiple reports state that former Green Bay tight end Jermichael Finley will visit the Seahawks tomorrow and will take a physical with the team:

Finley suffered a season-ending neck injury last October. Recent reports indicated he had not yet been cleared medically.

The 26-year-old Finley has been a productive receiver when healthy, with 223 receptions in six seasons.

Seattle will obviously have to feel comfortable Finley is healthy, with reports indicating that if he is, then the two sides would likely agree to a short-term deal.

And if Finley signs, it’s worth wondering what happens to Zach Miller, who is due for a $7 million salary cap hit in 2014. Indications have been that he could be asked to restructure his deal. Seattle also added to its tight end depth earlier today by re-signing free agent Anthony McCoy.
