Thurmond visits Jaguars, tweets San Francisco up next

Free-agent cornerback Walter Thurmond tweeted that he met with the Jaguars and added that he is headed to San Francisco next:

Thurmond was Seattle’s nickel corner for most of the season, but he became the starter when Brandon Browner was injured. Thurmond played well last year, but he was suspended four games for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy. He lost his starting job to Byron Maxwell but returned to play nickel down the stretch.
