Wednesday afternoon notes: NFL.com says all signs point to Finley coming to Seattle

A few notes to pass along as we get into day three of the free agency signing period:

— And we’ll lead off with NFL.com’s recap of the Jermichael Finley situation, stating that all signs point to him joining the Seahawks pending a physical. Given his neck issues and the caution we’ve seen with other free agents and physicals so far, that indicates this is far from done. But if it does get done, then the next obvious question will be what happens to Zach Miller and his $7 million cap hit. The options would be either being cut, or having his deal restructured to maybe in the $2-3 million range. I’m not sure either can be ruled out;

Tarvaris Jackson has officially re-signed with Seattle for what is being reported as a one-year deal worth a guaranteed $1.25 million;

Chris Clemons officially signed with Jacksonville to a four-year deal worth a reported $18.5 million, with $5.475 million guaranteed. Clemons met the media in Jacksonville today and said Atlanta and Oakland also reached out. Here are some thoughts on how he will fit in with the Jaguars;

Jason Hatcher himself just Tweeted that he is headed to Tennessee for another visit. Further down on his page you can see some references to his Seattle visit. Might be the best way to keep up with what he’s doing:
