Saturday links: 49ers’ fans not loving color of new BART seats

We’ll by making sure you don’t miss a story that got a lot of social media play last night — this from CBSSports.com, detailing how some 49ers’ fans aren’t in love withe color of the seats of some of the new rapid transit trains in the Bay Area.

This doesn’t mean much of anything other than giving more evidence to the intense nature of the rivalry between the two teams, one that feels like it’s starting to become almost college-like.

And if anyone at SoundTransit is paying attention, I will assume they will cross off anything close to red and gold from the list of future seat colors.

IN OTHER NEWS. …

— More on Steven Hauschka returning to his alma mater.

— Another pick of Seattle taking Tennessee OL Ju’Wuan James in the second round.

— And more on Malcolm Smith’s trip to Alaska.

— And more on Russell Wilson mentoring Keith Price.

— Here are more reports that Colin Kaepernick was not in the hotel room when 911 calls were placed.
