Thursday afternoon links: Sherman honored by Time, WR Edwards visits, and more

A few Seahawk news and notes to pass along this afternoon, so let’s get started.

— First, the latest honor for cornerback Richard Sherman comes from Time Magazine, which named him one of the 100 Most Influential People, calling “The NFL cornerback who smack-talks stereotypes.”

Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that WR Armanti Edwards is working out for  the Seahawks:

Edwards may be best known as the quarterback who beat Michigan while playing at Appalachian State in 2007. He has six career receptions in four years in the NFL with Carolina and, most recently, Cleveland (stats here).

— We’ll go into this in more detail at a later point, as well, but Forbes magazine has some Seahawk games listed among what it expects to be the most expensive tickets of the 2014 season.

— Deadspin ranks the weekly schedules of the NFL season.

— The Sporting News rates Seattle’s game at San Francisco on Thanksgiving as the No. 1 game of the season.

— Finally, Jermaine Kearse returning to his old stomping grounds Friday:
