Video: Marcus Trufant retires as a Seahawk

Marcus Trufant retired as a Seahawk today during a press conference that was more of a celebration of his life and career at the team’s complex in Renton.

“I’m not sad,” said Trufant, who played for Seattle from 2003-12 before spending camp last year with Jacksonville without appearing in a game. “This is a happy time. Excited to see what comes next.”

Among the teammates there were Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor, as well as some Tacoma-area friends such as Isaiah Thomas.
