Updates on Lockette 911 call

Several media outlets today have received tapes of the 911 call made in a “suspicious incident” involving Seahawks receiver Ricardo Lockette and San Francisco QB Colin Kaepernick and WR Quinton Patton (background here).

Several outlets are reporting that the voice on the 911 call is that of Lockette, who played with the 49ers in 2012 and early in 2013 before rejoining the Seahawks, his original team.

The San Jose Mercury News reported that Lockette made the call to report a naked woman lying in a bed and refusing to leave an apartment, earlier reported to be Lockette’s. Reports also state that the woman referred to herself as Jesus.

As this CBSSports.com report of the incident details, Miami police say they are still investigating the case, with no decisions yet made on whether or not to file charges.
