Sixth-round pick Pinkins signs contract

Cornerback Eric Pinkins of San Diego State has signed his contract with the Seahawks, according to his agency group:

Recall that rookie contracts are now slotted via the terms in the Collective Bargaining Agreement, so there is no real negotiating going on.

According to the estimates of OvertheCap.com, Pinkins will receive a signing bonus of $88,232 with  a possible total salary over four years of $2.308 million.

He is the first of Seattle’s nine draft picks reported to have signed his contract.
