NFL still settling on location, time of 2015 Draft

According to the varying reports on NFL.com today, the 2015 NFL Draft won’t be held at New York’s Radio City Music Hall, as it has been for the last decade.

But when it where it will be held remains in question.

The NFL.com reports say that the event will be held at either a different location in New York, or possibly Los Angeles and Chicago.

And it could be a four-night affair, running Wednesday-Saturday, with two possible proposed blocks — April 22-25 or April 29-May 2.

An NFL spokesman had said earlier this spring that Seattle was among the cities that had expressed interest in hosting the draft if the league decided to start moving it around — it has been held in New York since 1965. But today’s reports indicate that won’t happen in 2015.

Conflicts with Radio City Music Hall helped lead to the draft being held this year in May, and to the league exploring other venues.
