First, a reminder. The Seahawks’ last OTA of Phase 3 of their off-season program open to the media is Thursday. Next week is a three-day, mandatory mini-camp, also open to the media. And then it’s off for a month or so for the summer.
For now, a few links. …
— Jayson Jenks today wrote about whether the Seahawks will really be by-committee at tailback this year. My hunch remains the same — the combo of Christine Michael and Robert Turbin gets more carries than a year ago. But when the Seahawks really need a yard at a key time, it’s Lynch who will get the ball.
— This is a few days old, but I liked this examination of how statistics and historical precedent can be flawed predictors of the future. In this particular case, the topic is receiver size, something that is of particular interest to the Seahawks after having taken Paul Richardson with their first pick this year.
— Is Ricardo Lockette really the fastest Seahawks?
— Danny O’Neil says Terrelle Pryor has had a breakthrough of sorts the last week. I’ll have some thoughts on this a little later.
— Michael Bennett to hold a football camp in Oahu.
— FieldGulls on what a new deal for Russell Wilson might look like.
— NFL.com says the Seahawks are like the Spain World Cup team.
