Morning links: Simon on the rise

Back on track with a few links this morning. …

— Here’s my story on a player who was one of the rising stars of OTAs, cornerback Tharold Simon. Simon did enough in OTAs to indicate he’ll be a factor in the battle for a backup cornerback spot during training camp.

— The AP has a story on Percy Harvin, whose health was another highlight of OTAs, and one that surprisingly might have gotten a little overlooked.

— ProFootballFocus rates QBs by depth of pass thrown in 2013. Russell Wilson had the third-best grade on 21-30-yard passes and fourth-best on 31-40 yarders, and led most categories in percentage of roll outs.

— ESPN is asking readers to vote on the top 10 Seahawks of all time.

— ESPN also with a nice feature on Steven Hauschka.

— New Orleans safety Rafael Bush, who laid one of the hits on Harvin that knocked him out of the playoff game, says the Saints will compete with the Seahawks for the honor of having the best secondary this season.

— Interesting story on WR Donavon Kemp, now in the CFL but who spent a couple of weeks in Seattle’s camp last season.
