Monday links: Seahawks special teams lauded

A few links to pass along today. …

— First, in Mike Tanier’s weekly rankings piece, he rates special teams throughout the NFL and has Seattle second behind the Ravens. Tanier suggests that the Seahawks will pick their spots to use Percy Harvin as a returner this year. We’ll see on that. Pete Carroll has indicated that they plan to use Harvin as much as possible, and even threw him into the punt return mix during OTAs and mini-camp. But more clarity will come as training camp progresses.

— Interesting story here from a few days ago on an Australian rugby club and the Seahawks forming a partnership.

— The Vancouver Sun with a profile of Russell Wilson.

— ESPN continues its countdown of the top Seahawks of all time.

— USA Today predicts the final 20 players in NFL Network’s Top 100 c0untdown, a list that includes Wilson, Earl Thomas, Richard Sherman and Marshawn Lynch.

— Sherman said at a camp this weekend that it isn’t that bad being No. 1 in the NFL.

— Interesting stuff here on Wilson’s role in the Delta/Alaska airlines fight over Seattle.
