Seattle will get its roster to 90 by signing veteran offensive lineman Wade Smith, who has played in the NFL since 2003, most recently with Houston.
Smith is not on the roster for today’s practice, but just Tweeted that he is joining the Seahawks:

Smith started all 16 games at guard last season for Houston and has 98 career starters, including 64 straight the last four seasons for the Texans.
Smith played through some nagging injuries last season but made the Pro Bowl in 2012, and said in May that he is healthy.
Smith adds depth to an offensive line that has undergone some change in recent days with Seattle waiving and then losing second-year player Michael Bowie over the weekend.
We’ll get more after practice on the team’s plans for Smith.
