An early start for the 10 today. First, though, a quick note that the Seahawks hold another open practice today, this one at the more regular time of 10:15 a.m. So check back for more throughout the day on practice.
, We’ll start today with my story for the Tuesday paper on rookie Paul Richardson, who says his shoulder issues are in the past and he’s ready and pretty darn excited — even if only the preseason — to make his NFL debut Thursday in Denver. I detailed the other day how the rookie draft class was pretty much MIA during the scrimmage Saturday. But as Pete Carroll said it would be, it began to get back to healthy Monday as Richardson, Cassius Marsh and Justin Britt were all back on the field, the latter two looking full go.
, Here also is our Seahawks camp glance.
,ESPN’s Terry Blount says waiving Michael Bowie sent a message. Recall, tho0ugh, that Carroll said it was “unfortunate” that they couldn’t get Bowie back. I think the team wanted to get Bowie through and keep him on the roster. But were they unhappy with the condition in which Bowie came back to camp? Any last question about that went out the window when Carroll volunteered Monday that Bowie was 20 pounds overweight. The Seahawks could have held on to Bowie for 24 days to get him on IR. But 24 days can seem like an eternity to carry a dead roster spot this time of year. It also can’t be discounted that he has what is said to be a significant shoulder injury, something that has bothered him since the preseason games against the Raiders a year ago. The Seahawks haven’t been afraid to make the unconventional move, and it’s served them well so far. Time will tell on this one. (Speaking of Bowie — here’s more on the Cowboys reportedly having placed a waiver claim on him. Also, here’s a look at the Bowie situation and how it compares to that of SF’s Kendall Hunter).

, ESPN’s Blount with more on Kevin Norwood’s injury situation. As he states, and as I wrote in our Impressions from Monday, it’s definitely becoming a concern.
, Q13Fox with an early look at five things to watch in Thursday’s game.
, ESPN with a good update on the Broncos.
