Seahawks Daily Top 10: Phil Bates, stars back, and more

Time for the 10 on a day when the Seahawks make their first road trip of the season. After practice at the VMAC this morning, they’ll hop on a plane and head to Denver for Thursday’s pre-season opener against the Broncos.

1, We’ll start with my story on receiver Phil Bates, who has been one of the breakout players of training camp for the Seahawks. As the story notes, the injury to Kevin Norwood has potentially opened up a spot for another receiver. Bates could be one to step right through that and onto the roster.
