Time for the 10:
, As an FYI, the Seahawks are done with practices open to the public. So we won’t have our running camp update posts anymore, and will also be limited on Twitter in what we can say during practice itself. But we’ll have lots of reports this afternoon after practice.
, Here’s my story for the Wednesday paper on running back Demitrius Bronson, trying to make the team as an undrafted rookie free agent. He has a long road ahead of him with Marshawn Lynch, Robert Turbin and Christine Michael seemingly set as the top three tailbacks. And here’s my story on the Marshawn Lynch situation.
, ESPN on the praise Mike Morgan is getting for standing in as the No. 1 strongside linebacker with other players sidelined.
, Here’s the morning update from ESPN’s Eric Williams on the Chargers, Seattle’s opponent Friday.
, Tight end Travis Beckum, who was with the Seahawks for a few months earlier this year, has signed with the Saints.
, Interesting stuff here from MMQB on the NFL’s injury spotter, something I’d imagine most fans don’t know much about.
, The Washington Post with some good stuff on how the illegal contact emphasis could impact offenses this season.
, The Seahawks host the Cowboys on Oct. 12 and former NFL player Ross Tucker thinks Seattle fans could be seeing an historically bad defense:
I think we have to consider possibility that Cowboys will have worst defense in NFL history
