We’ll start by reminding you that a week from today there will be ACTUAL NFL FOOTBALL!!!!!!!
Yep, we’re as ready for the real thing as you are to see if the Seahawks can repeat.

1, And that’s where we’ll start with my story for the Thursday paper breaking down the biggest remaining questions at each position group. I think Terrelle Pryor may be the most intriguing for the obvious reasons of his name and position. But there are plenty of others, as well.
2, Also in our paper today is this column from Larry Stone looking at Seattle’s new life as a team with a target on its back, in more ways than one.
4, NFL.com says the big story tonight is Oakland rookie QB Derek Carr.
6, Raiders.com with lots of news and notes on the game.
7, A few Seahawks’ games on this list of the best in the NFL this season.
8, Yahoo.com looks at the rise in flags in the preseason, which actually hasn’t impacted the Seahawks all that much.
9, While tonight’s game is vitally important to players trying to secure roster spots, here’s one columnist who thinks they are a big ripoff.
10, Finally, here’s the real story of what tonight’s games around the league are all about:
Hundreds of guys putting helmet & shoulder pads on for final time tonight. Most of them don't realize it.
