Seahawks announce practice squad members

The Seahawks have announced eight of the members of their initial 10-man practice squad for the 2014 season. The other two spots figure to be filled tomorrow.

All of the players on the list were with Seattle during training camp. Here’s the list:

Practice Squad

TE RaShaun Allen

RB Demitrius Bronson

QB B.J Daniels

T Nate Isles

WR Chris Matthews

S Terrance Parks

DT Jimmy Staten

S Steven Terrell

Daniels is obviously an interesting one as you can now consider him the team’s de facto third quarterback for this season.
Staten is the lone 2014 draft pick on the list as the others were either past free agent signees or signed as undrafted free agents or just free agents this year.
Also worth noting that as I write this, I have seen nothing about two of Seattle’s more notable players released —- QB Terrelle Pryor and WR Bryan Walters. Pryor would not have practicce squad eligibility.
