Offensive Summary

  • Rookie RT Justin Britt (+1.9) had a solid first game and was the only offensive lineman to have an overall grade in the green. His +2.2 pass blocking grade led all linemen and he gave up no QB hurries nor hits.
  • J.R. Sweezy had a rough -2.9 overall grade and was one of three lineman to allow a QB hurry.
  • Marshawn Lynch ran the ball on 21 of his 45 total. While his backup Robert Turbin got 5 touches, WR Percy Harvin had 4 rushing attempts

Passing

  • Not the best performance by Russell Wilson given the end result, grading at a -1.7. Against the blitz Wilson was +0.5 but when he was not blitzed, he graded at -2.3.
  • Wilson targeted the short and intermediate left side of the field, earning a 147.9 and 158.3 QB rating respectively.

Rushing

  • Marshawn Lynch did his best running middle left between LG and center. He made Packer defenders miss tackles seven times, six of which game outside of RT.
  • Percy Harvin averaged 10.3 yards on his four rushing attempts and had two missed tackles.

Receiving

  • Harvin also led receivers in targets at 7, Doug Baldwin with 5 and Zach Miller with 4.
  • Packers CB Casey Hayward was not thrown at on his 17 coverage snaps played.
  • Seahawks had zero dropped passes.

Defense

  • Starting DEs Cliff Avril (+3.2) and Michael Bennett (+1.7)both graded in the green amassing five QB hurries and two QB sacks.
  • MLB Bobby Wagner was the only other defensive player to grade in the green at +1.3 and had 5 stops on 9 tackles.
  • RCB Byron Maxwell was picked on when covering Jordy Nelson, giving up eight receptions on 10 targets, earning a -1.5 pass coverage grade
  • Combined 12 missed tackles by the defense

Special Teams

  • Jon Ryan a solid +1.2 overall grade on two punts.
