Seahawks Daily Top 10: Have Seahawks shown that complacency won’t be an issue?

What a glorious first NFL Sunday of the season it is here in Seattle. The sun will beckon, but so will the TV and a full slate of games.

As for the Seahawks, they will return to work tomorrow to begin preparations for a San Diego team that will still be waiting to play its first game.

1, I wrote for today that one thing that doesn’t appear to be an issue for the Seahawks is complacency in the wake of having won the Super Bowl.

2, Also in our paper today is our weekly NFC West Watch.

3, Seseahawksdaily_top10ahawks.com on the solid debut for rookie RT Justin Britt.

4, Here’s a story that could potentially have a lot of impact on the NFC West race — is Jim Harbaugh already losing the 49ers’ locker room? They play at Dallas today, and that might not everything but it could tell something.

5, ESPN calls the Fail Mary the No. 1 moment in Monday Night Football history.

6, Michael Robinson said on NFL Gameday First this morning that some Seahawks veterans were grousing that the team might have erred in giving the starting QB job to Russell Wilson after Seattle lost the opener at Arizona in 2012. His point, the story says, is that Wilson heard it and only worked harder to get better.

7, The Associated Press with what was learned from Seattle’s win over Green Bay.

8, Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com says the Seahawks appear to be better this year than they were in 2013.

9, Fun stuff here from Sam Farmer of the LA Times on the language of the NFL playbook.
