Name: Jasper MacSlarrow

Resides: Hong Kong

Occupation: Government-policy consultant

Favorite Seahawk: Earl Thomas

12th Man for: 20 to 30 years

Seahawks story: “Been a fan since the Chuck Knox days, when my family lived on Orcas Island. My family and I have just moved to Hong Kong, and I have pulled out all the stops to make sure we can watch kickoff. Fired up! The 1 a.m. (Hong Kong time) kickoffs will be rough later in the season, but I’ll be there. Can’t vouch for my 6-year-old, though.”

Fast fact: MacSlarrow, 38, grew up on Orcas Island, graduated Ferndale High School and University of Washington. Moved to Hong Kong from Washington, D.C., six weeks ago.

Prediction: Seahawks, 31-20. Chargers are some people’s sleeper pick for the Super Bowl, and going on the road to face them will be tough. That said, the Hawks’ offense is high octane right now, and the Chargers’ defense won’t be able to stop it. The Chargers will score some points, but in the end, the Hawks’ defense shuts down Philip Rivers and company.

Last week: Four Times staffers and Pearl Jam’s Jeff Ament also picked a Seattle win, but 12th Fan Ruth Soto of Bothell won by guessing a 36-12 Seahawks victory. The final score was 36-16.
