Seahawks inactives for game against Chargers

Here is the list of Seattle’s seven inactive players for today against the Chargers: CB Tharold Simon, RB Christine Michael, LB Kevin Pierre-Louis, OT Andrew McDonald, WR Kevin Norwood, TE Cooper Helfet and DL Greg Scruggs.

No real surprises. There had been a thought Norwood might be active today as he practiced all week. But he has yet to play in a game of any sort and his NFL debut will have to wait at least another week.

Inactive for San Diego are CB  Chris Davis, CB Brandon Flowers, S Jahleel Addae, RB Branden Oliver, DT Ricardo Matthews and OLB Jarret Johnson as well as recently-acquired OL Doug Legursky.

The big story there may be Flowers, a starting cornerback. That means rookie Jason Verrett is likely to get the start opposite Shareece Wright.
