Springs played seven seasons in Seattle before playing the finalĀ  six with the Redskins. Alexander, Seattle’s all-time leading rusher, played all but his final season with the Seahawks, playing four games for the Redskins in 2007. Mawae was a second-round pick of the Seahawks in 1994 and played four seasons for Seattle before moving on to the Jets and the Titans, ultimately playing 16 years and being named to eight Pro Bowls.

The list will be whittled to 25 semi-finalists in late November and then to 15 finalists in January with the class selected on the day before the Super Bowl, which is Feb. 1 in Glendale, Ariz.
