Seahawks Daily Top 10: Attention now turns to Super Bowl rematch, Broncos call it “a statement game”

In the aftermath of a surprising loss at San Diego, the fact that the Seahawks now face a rematch of Super Bowl XLVIII wasn’t really on the top of anyone’s mind.

But after the Seahawks got through with Tell the Truth Monday yesterday, it will be now. The Seahawks are officially off today, then will return to the field tomorrow to fully begin preparation for the Broncos.

1. Times columnist Larry Stone writes that the game will be personal for the Broncos. Stone also has this on the Broncos being ready for revenge.

2. Make sure you didn’t miss Hugh Millen’s analysis of what went wrong in San Diego.

3. Seahawks.com on the tough tests the Seahawks are facing in the first three weeks of the season.

4. The Broncos are getting plenty of practice chasing mobile quarterbacks.

5. Broncos cornerback Chris Harris Jr. says “it’s a statement game.”

6. The Broncos defense is also smarting from some “dumb mistakes” in its win Sunday over Kansas City.

7. A native mask that inspired the Seahawks’ logo may soon visit Seattle.

8. Denver coach John Fox isn’t happy with the way his team is playing even though the Broncos are 2-0.

9. Pat Kirwan  of CBSSports.com moves the Seahawks to No. 3 in his power rankings, behind Denver and the Bengals. And John Breech of CBSSports.com sees Seattle winning 31-27. The Seahawks fall to No. 2 in the FoxSports.com power ratings.

10. The Broncos are having issues on third down.
