Seattle’s injury report for Thursday is out. And the good news is that running back Marshawn Lynch and safety Kam Chancellor are each listed as full participants after having sat out on Wednesday — Lynch with a back injury and Chancellor an ankle.
The bad news is that defensive end Bruce Irvin has been added to the injury report, listed as sitting out practice Thursday with a rib injury. Irvin practiced on Wednesday and was not on the injury report for that day.
Also still out today are TE Zach Miller (ankle), LB Mike Morgan (hip) and CB Tharold Simon (knee).
Listed as a limited participant was RB Christine Michael (hamstring). And listed as full participants (along with Lynch and Chancellor) were TE Cooper Helfet and LB Kevin Pierre-Louis.
We’ll get access tomorrow to Seahawks coach Pete Carroll when we’ll then get a better idea of the availability of the injured players for Sunday’s game against Denver.
But if Miller can’t go, that would elevate Luke Willson to a starting role and likely mean Helfet would be active for the first time in his NFL career.
And if Morgan can’t play, that could mean Pierre-Louis would also be active for the first time.
As for the Broncos, the only players listed as not participating were LBs Lerentee McCray and Danny Trevathan. Listed as limited was guard Ben Garland (here’s some background on Denver’s linebacker situation).
