Marshawn Lynch tackled in end zone for safety

The Seahawks had been winning the field-position battle for most of the game until they finally got pinned deep in their own end early in the fourth quarter. After Russell Wilson was sacked and then Russell Okung committed a false-start penalty, Seattle faced a third-and-17 at its 1-yard line. Marshawn Lynch took the handoff and while trying to cut back and get out of the end zone, he was met by Nate Irving and T.J. Ward, who tackled Lynch for a safety that made it 17-5 Seattle with 13:07 left in the game.
