DeShawn Shead made one assisted tackle in Seattle’s 26-20 overtime win over Denver Sunday.

But his day was far from done.

Afterward, he proposed to his girlfriend, Jessica Martinez, on the field after the game.

As Shead happily wrote on his Twitter page, “She said yes!’’

Shead is a third-year defensive back who plays backup safety and cornerback and on Sunday had 25 plays on special teams.

Shead, who is originally from Palmdale, Calif., had Martinez’s family and his own flown in for the game but did not tell them of his plan.
