Bob Condotta’s NFL picks for Week Four

The Seahawks are off this weekend, one of six teams with a bye (including the Broncos and two other NFC West teams, the Rams and Cardinals).

But there are a dozen other NFL games this weekend, and I’ve made my picks below.

As you can see, I am indeed predicting a loss for the 49ers and a 1-3 start for the team that entered the season looming as Seattle’s biggest threat to get back to the Super Bowl.

But if the Eagles pull it off, it might be time to switch the focus to Philadelphia being the team that the Seahawks might have to worry the most about in the NFC — and keep in mind that Seattle will play the Eagles on the road on Dec. 7.

The Eagles give up a ton of points, but they score more, and it sure looks like Chip Kelly has been able to take the system he had so much success with at Oregon and adapt it to the NFL.

A San Francisco loss would also put the 49ers in last place in the NFC West with Arizona at 3-0, Seattle at 2-1 and the Rams at 1-2 and all taking the weekend off.

And a loss would also only heighten all the talk about the future of Jim Harbaugh.

So yeah, looks like lots on the line for the 49ers today, and a really intriguing game for Seattle to watch from afar.

Here are my picks:
