Seahawks Daily Top 10: Catching up with Keith Price, and looking ahead

The bye week is over after today.

For now, we’ll get back to the Daily Top 10 and catch up on a few things.

1. I talked to former UW quarterback Keith Price for the weekly NFL column. Price is now playing in Saskatchewan of the CFL after being released by the Seahawks in June. He talks about being surprised at being released as quickly as he was and his hopes that the CFL will  lead to another shot with an NFL team.

2. Justin Britt had his number retired at his high school over the weekend.

3. Shaun Alexander says Marshawn Lynch shouldn’t change anything.

4. The Denver Post reported Saturday that Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib was fined for throwing an elbow late in the game against the Seahawks Sunday. That was the only fine levied in the game.

5. A Bronco-centric film review of a couple of key plays in the last Sunday’s game.

6. NFL,com has more today on how 49ers veterans are reportedly grumbling about the methods of coach Jim Harbaugh.

7. A good bookmark here —- the tendencies for every NFL officiating crew. This one is good too — national ratings for every NFL game (or window) so far this season.

8. Seattle returns to practice Monday to begin preparation for a game against Washington. Here’s a pretty pessimistic overview of Washington’s current situation from Thomas Boswell. And five impressions of Washington after its blowout loss against the Giants.

9. If you go to the game Monday and buy a beer, you might want to check the expiration label.

10. Finally, interesting look at whether kickers really have been more inaccurate so far this season.
