Seahawks Daily Top 10: Seahawks in D.C., and is Holmgren a candidate for Raiders’ job?

The Seahawks landed in the nation’s capital last  night:

While it’s in the mid-50s this morning, the forecast is for 75 degrees and sunny tomorrow — so, just about perfect weather for the game.

1. We’ll begin the links with this story today from Pro Football Talk reporting that former Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren has “quietly” emerged as a potential candidate to become the new head coach of the Oakland Raiders. The Raiders fired Dennis Allen earlier this week. Tony Sparano is the interim coach for the Raiders, who play in Seattle on Nov. 2. The assumption would be Sparano coaches out the season, but with the Raiders, who ever really knows for sure? Holmgren. As the story notes, Holmgren has ties to Oakland GM Reggie McKenzie. Holmgren was also born in San Francisco. He turned 66 on June 15.
