Russell Wilson’s playmaking puts Seahawks ahead, 17-0

Russell Wilson playmaking ability was on full display late in the first half as he helped the Seahawks extend their lead to 17-0.

On first-and-10 from the Washington 45, Wilson backtracked, got out of the pocket and while running to his left, threw downfield to tight end Cooper Helfet for 36 yards. On the next play, Wilson faked a handoff to Marshawn Lynch and ran left untouched for a nine-yard touchdown run with 4:36 to go in the second quarter.
