Seattle’s injury report for Thursday featured two new names — safety Kam Chancellor and receiver Percy Harvin.
Chancellor was listed as sitting out with an ankle injury. Undoubtedly Chancellor is just managing the ankle issue that crept up earlier this season. Harvin was listed with a thigh. Harvin practiced Wednesday so not sure what the situation is on that. Harvin left the Washington game in the second quarter due to cramps, had an IV at halftime, and came back to play the rest of the game.
Coach Pete Carroll does not meet with the media on Thursday, so we’ll have to wait until Friday to get any comments from him on Harvin.
RB Marshawn Lynch, who took a rest day Wednesday, was listed as a full participant Thursday.
Otherwise, the report was the same as Wednesday.
Already ruled out is tight end Zach Miller, recovering from ankle surgery.
And again not practicing Wednesday were CB Tharold Simon (knee), T Alvin Bailey (oblique) and C Max Unger (foot).
That Unger sat out for a second straight day increases the odds that Stephen Schilling will make his first Seahawk start on Sunday against Dallas. Schilling played three snaps Monday after Unger was injured, diagnosed with what Carroll said was a strained foot. Newly-signed Patrick Lewis is getting snaps behind Schilling,.
