Resides: Morgan Hill, Calif.
School: Kennedy High School in Burien (1980 graduate), Seattle University (1987), Catholic U (1994).
Family: He and wife Monica have four children – and a friendly division. “My wife and kids are 49er fans. My son and two daughters get upset when I put on my Seahawks mask and hat. There’s a little rivalry within the family.”
Occupation: Pastoral associate for Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Saratoga, Calif.
Seahawks fan for: Thirty-plus years. “I was a kid living in Seattle in 1976 and that was the first NFL team there. It was a huge thing for me. Jim Zorn, Steve Largent and Chuck Knox. All of a sudden the rest of the country started paying attention to Seattle. We were somebody.”
Favorite Seahawks: Current, Russell Wilson; all-time favorite, Steve Largent.
Memorable moment: “It has to be the Beast Quake run by Marshawn Lynch against the Saints. I was home watching on TV. I couldn’t believe it. He was breaking tackles right and left. I just started screaming my head off.”
On living in 49ers country: “I have a big flag in my office at a school, and all the kids look at it and say, ‘Are you kidding me? Mr. Patrick is a Seahawks fan?’ Steve Mariucci goes to church here, so I’ve even talked to him about it. When he found out I was a Seahawks fan he said, ‘What? That’s not going to go over well.’ ”
Fast facts: Comes from a big Catholic family of five brothers and six sisters, with 44 nieces and nephews … He was born in a fire station on St. Patrick’s Day. “That’s why my mom named me Patrick.”
Prediction: Seahawks, 30-20. “I think the offense is going to get it together. They’ll go to the running game and grind down Carolina. And the defense will play more cohesively.”
Last week: No one correctly predicted the Rams’ victory over the Seahawks.
