A funny thing happened on the way to a blowout: The Raiders made it a game in the third quarter.
After getting great field position at the Seahawks 30-yard line, the Raiders needed five plays to score on a one-yard touchdown pass from David Carr to Mychal Rivera on a fourth-and-goal. (Watch video here)
The touchdown pass made it 24-17 with 2:58 to go in the third quarter. It was only the second time this season the Raiders have scored more than 14 points in a game.
And we have a ballgame. Derek Carr to Mychal Rivera, TD. Raiders have closed to within a score. #Seahawks lead 24-17.

What looked, felt and was a blowout is suddenly a one-score game. Seahawks offense has picked up just 2 first downs this half.
