Seahawks snap counts vs. Raiders

Here are the snap counts for Seattle’s 30-24 win over the Raiders Sunday — 81 total for the offense and 60 for the defense.

A few new names in some big roles, as you can see, most notably on the offensive line, where Alvin Bailey went all the way at left tackle and Patrick Lewis played 63 snaps at center before being replaced by Steve Schilling at the end when James Carpenter was hurt and they wanted Schilling’s experience in there. As I noted in my story, that says something that Schilling — who has started just three games at center — was suddenly viewed as a settling force.

Defensively, of most note may be how the younger linebackers were rotated, with Brock Coyle getting 32 snaps in the middle and Kevin Pierre-Louis getting 15 in a nickel defense role.
