Seahawks Thursday injury report: Twelve sit out

The Seahawks may be getting healthier. But evidence that they also still have a ways to go came Wednesday as 12 players sat out practice.

Two are players who already are declared out for Sunday’s game against the Giants — middle linebacker Bobby Wagner and tight end Zach Miller.

Also, two players were listed as out for non-injury related reasons — RB Marshawn Lynch, who took his usual Wednesday rest day; and center Max Unger, who missed practice for a personal reason and is expected back Thursday.

Eight others sat out with injuries: G James Carpenter (ankle), T Russell Okung (calf), WR Doug Baldwin (groin), C Stephen Schilling (knee), S Kam Chancellor (groin), CB Byron Maxwell (calf), DE O’Brien Schofield (head), LB Malcolm Smith (groin).

Carroll said earlier that Okung and Chancellor should be back Sunday.

DT Jordan Hill (ankle) was a limited participant but also expected back this week.

And S Jeron Johnson, coming off of a concussion, was a full participant.

As for the Giants, here are the details on their injuries from ESPN.
