Pro Football Talk report: Lynch faces $100,000 fine for not talking to the media
Per a report tonight from Pro Football Talk, Seattle running back Marshawn Lynch faces a fine of
$100,000 if he does not talk to the media following Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
As the story details, the fine would be the reinstatement of a $50,000 fine he was threatened with last season but did not get after agreeing to speak to the media, plus an added $50,000 for not complying now, the story noting he was threatened then that he could be fined additionally if he did not comply with rules on speaking to the media in the future.
Lynch spoke to the media after a home game against Oakland two weeks ago when it was thought that he had been threatened with a fine. He did not speak to the media last week after scoring four touchdowns against the New York Giants.
