No surprises in the Seattle Seahawks’ list of inactives for Kansas City game

The list of inactives for the Seahawks’ game today at Kansas City featured no surprises.

Here it is: DBs Steven Terrell and Marcus Burley, LBs Brock Coyle and Bobby Wagner, OLs Andrew McDonald and James Carpenter, and tight end RaShaun Allen.

Burley, Coyle, Wagner and Carpenter are all battling injuries, while Terrell and Allen are each at spots where Seattle has gotten healthier with its regular players as the week progressed. McDonald is also a healthy inactive.

That Allen is inactive is a good sign about the health of Seattle’s tight ends, indicating that Luke Willson is indeed good to go, as coach Pete Carroll had indicated he would be on Friday when he said Willson had recovered quickly from a sprained ankle suffered last week.

Also, much made this morning about Marshawn Lynch being active. But locally I don’t think was any doubt about that despite the fact he had been listed as questionable.

Here are Kansas City’s inactives: QB Aaron Murray, WRs A.J. Jenkins and Donnie Avery, CBs Chris Owens and Jamell Fleming, OL Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, and TE Anthony Fasano.
