Lockette fined $10,000 for ejection at Kansas City

As I tweeted earlier today, Seattle receiver Ricardo Lockette was issued a $10,000 fine by the NFL for his ejection from the game at Kansas City last Sunday.

Lockette received a personal foul for the play on which he threw a retaliatory punch at Kansas City’s Kurt Coleman, after it appeared Coleman had given him a shove.

The incident came at the end of a punt return by D’Anthony Thomas on which it was ruled after replay that Thomas had stepped out of bounds at the KC 29 rather than the Seattle 40.
