Seahawks block punt, Cooper Helfet body slams Rob Housler

The Seahawks got their second turnover of the day when cornerback DeShawn Shead blocked a Cardinals punt early in the third quarter. The blocked punt was big enough, but it was punctuated by Cooper Helfet’s body-slam tackle of Cardinals tight end Rob Housler, who had fallen on the loose ball. (Watch video here)

But as has been the case all game, the Seahawks sputtered on offense and had to settle for another Steven Hauschka field goal, this one from 40 yards out with 8:34 to go in the third quarter to put Seattle up, 12-3.
