Seahawks-49ers game draws a feast of a TV rating

It’s no surprise anymore when a Seahawsk’ game gets another big TV rating. So just consider it more of the same that Seattle’s 19-3 win over San Francisco was highly-watched.

According to NBC public relations (the network on which the game aired) the game drew a 35.5 rating and a 74 share in Seattle (the share is the percentage of all TVs tuned to the game and the share the percentage of all TVs in use at that time tuned to the game).

That was, by far, the top local rating/share in the nation for the game — Sacramento was next at 26.4 and 56.

Nationally, the game drew a 12.5 rating and 25 share, the best for a Thanksgiving prime time game. That was also up six percent from Ravens-Steelers in the same time slot a year ago.
