Name: Kim Larsen

Age: 58

Resides: Renton

School: Cascade High School in Everett (1974), University of Washington (1978)

Family: Husband, Larry; sons Chris, 30; Daniel, 28; Mitchell, 26; and daughter Stacie, 21. All three sons are married.

Occupation: Teacher for 36 years, last 16 in the Kent School District.

Seahawks fan for: 19 years. She bought Seahawks season tickets in 1995 with $400 her grandmother gave her. “My husband thought I was crazy, but all those Sundays with our boys have been priceless! I knew it would be a great way to connect with them,” she remembers. Larry, her husband of 37 years, no longer thinks she’s crazy. “When my kids started going away to college, he started going to games with me. Now he has been won over!  It was one of the best investments of our lives and we can’t wait to share it with our grandchildren when they come along!”

Favorite Seahawks: Current, quarterback Russell Wilson and running back Marshawn Lynch. All-time, quarterback Matt Hasselbeck (2001-2010). “I just thought he was such a good man,” Larsen says.

Memorable moments: “Seeing all those the fantastic catches over the years. We have had some great quarterbacks, but we also have these great receivers making these amazing catches. Steve Largent and that era was memorable, but as they’ve progressed it has been one after another. Our quarterbacks are wonderful, but the receivers need more recognition.”

Fast facts: Larsen went to college with quarterback Warren Moon and defensive back Nesby Glasgow at Washington. “I was a lifeguard at Husky Pool, and they would cool down there after practice. I saw Nesby a couple of years ago before a Huskies game as he gave out autographs, and he said he remembered me. I don’t know if he really did, but he said he did. He was so cute, so gracious.” … Larsen has her own Seahawks jersey, No. 29, with “Kim” on the back. “Twenty-nine is my favorite number. My Birthday is June 29, and two of my kids’ birthdays are Sept. 29.” … Her 105-year-old grandmother, who lives in Palm Springs, Calif.,  remains an avid Seahawks fan.

Prediction: Seahawks, 27-24. It’s going to be their toughest game remaining, but I predict a Seahawks win. Our defense will come through and Russell Wilson will do another great job of scrambling and throwing on the run.”
