Tuesday night Seahawks links and notes: Do Eagles have a secret weapon for Russell Wilson?

This feels like a big enough game to get some morning links up tonight. So here we go.

— A story from NJ.com posits the theory that maybe the Eagles will have an edge defending Russell Wilson because they have so many college coaches on their staff conversant with the zone-read offense. Seattle coach Pete Carroll said sort of the same the other day about defending Philly’s up-tempo offense that the Seahawks practice against it all the time. We’ll find out Sunday, won’t we?

— I wrote this story for the Wednesday paper on Seattle tight end Tony Moeaki, who has been more than could have been expected since signing as a free agent early last month.

— Seahawks.com says Seattle is ready for whatever the Eagles throw at them

— More on Philly’s Brandon Graham, who was taken a pick ahead of Earl Thomas in 2010.

— The Eagles say they plan to challenge Richard Sherman Sunday. I’d imagine Sherman likes hearing that.

Chris Maragos, a member of the Seahawks in 2013 and now with the Eagles, says he sees some comparisons between that team and the current Philly squad.

— The Eagles’ defensive line hoping to be stingy against the Seahawks.

— Philadelphia linebacker Trent Cole still feels bad about his part in an injury suffered by Russell Okung in a 2011 game against the Eagles in Seattle.

— Will stopping DeMarco Murray prove to have been good practice for defending Marshawn Lynch?

— Just like the Seahawks, the Eagles are working to solve some recent woes in the red zone.

— More on how the Eagles will go after Sherman, as well as an injury update that notes former UW star Chris Polk did not seem to be practicing Tuesday. No word on what might have been wrong (and there were no official injury reports on Tuesday, though there will be beginning Wednesday).

— The SportsChatPlace says to take the under 48.5.

— LB Horace Miller who the Seahawks liked a lot in camp before he got hurt, has been promoted to Carolina’s roster.

— Finally, Kevin Pierre-Louis Tweeted earlier today that his surgery went well:
