Saturday Seahawks links and notes: Reviewing the third quarter, and more

Another thing that happens Sunday, when the Seahawks play the Eagles, is that it begins the fourth quarter of the season for Seattle.

So before the third quarter fell completely away in the rearview mirror, I took a look back , handing out some grades for each of the three phases as well as naming some MVPs.

Seattle’s season by quarters this year has gone 3-1, 2-2, 3-1. That’s a trend the Seahawks will almost certainly need to break to make the playoffs, let alone win the NFC West.

It starts Sunday, a game for which the Seahawks remain a one-point underdog at most sports books, though the line has come down a half-point or so at most places.
