Sunday morning Seahawks links and notes: Lynch talks on NFL Network, and game day is here

Marshawn Lynch hasn’t said much this season.

But as noted earlier this week, he promises to say a lot more Sunday morning in an interview with former Seahawks fullback Michael Robinson that will air on the NFL Network,  on its NFL GameDay First show at 4 a.m. Pacific Time, and NFL GameDay Morning at 6 a.m. Pacific Time.

The interview was conducted Saturday in Philadelphia and the NFL Network provided this quote from Lynch on one of the topics raised in the interview.

On what would you tell 20 year-old Marshawn Lynch:

“With everything I’ve been through, probably first off telling him don’t regret none of the decisions that you make because they’re going to make you into who you’re going to grow in to. I mean from the bad to the good, to the pretty and the ugly. But if you stay true and focused to yourself, then whatever is going on around you won’t mean [expletive]…So 28 year-old Marshawn [would] tell 20 year-old Marshawn get ready for a whirlwind…because it’s not going to be pretty.”

We’ll pass along more on that later.

There’s also a game to be played Sunday in Philadelphia, where it was raining Saturday night when we arrived but where it is supposed to be 42 and dry with winds in the 14-18 mile an hour range on Sunday, dropping to 27 at night. With a 4:25 local time kickoff, it’ll be pretty dark for most of the game.
