After three punts, two by the 49ers, the Seahawks were able to piece together a nine-play drive late in the first quarter that resulted in a 38-yard field goal by Steven Hauschka with 3:40 left in the period. The 49ers helped them along in the 62-yard drive, with free safety Eric Reid committing two 15-yard penalties for unnecessary roughness.
