The offensive frustration continued for the Seahawks in the second quarter as Marshawn Lynch fumbled in Seahawks’ territory. Lynch had caught a short pass from Russell Wilson to Wilson’s left and was making his way down the sideline when linebacker Alec Ogletree forced the fumble and was recovered by strong safety T.J. McDonald at the Seattle 37 and advanced three yards. (Watch video of the fumble here)
The Rams did not gain a yard on their drive and settled for a 52-yard field goal by Greg Zuerlein with 4:18 left to give St. Louis a 6-0 lead. But the Seahawks’ last three drives have ended with a turnover on downs, an interception and a fumble.
Lynch gets first down on screen and then fumbles when hit from behind by Ogletree. Second turnover of day for Seahawks. Rams at Seattle 34.

The things that had to happen for Rams to win this game — SEA turnovers, winning field position — have happened so far today.
