Seahawks assistant coaching interviews tracker

It can be a little dizzying keeping up with all of the reports about Seattle’s assistant coaches and which teams are interested in them for head coaching jobs.

So I thought I’d put together a little tracker of the various reports involving the three Seattle assistants reportedly being sought by other teams:

Defensive coordinator Dan Quinn: ESPN’s Adam Schefter today called Quinn “the busiest man in America” noting that he has interviews scheduled today with the Jets and Bears and tomorrow with the Bills and Falcons. And that’s on top of an interview he had with the 49ers earlier this week. So yes, Quinn’s time is now, it appears, with simple percentages indicating there’s a good chance he’s elsewhere next season.

Offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell: Bevell has been reported to have already had an interview with the Raiders (reported by the best source possible, Pete Carroll, during a SiriusXM NFL interview this week) and also is reportedly set for an interview with the Buffalo Bills.

Offensive line coach/assistant head coach Tom Cable: Cable, who was head coach of the Raiders from 2008-10 was also reportedly interviewed today by the Jets. So far, that’s the only team reported to have shown interest in Cable.
