Seahawks fans’ hopes are high — as high as the Space Needle — for Saturday’s playoff game against the Carolina Panthers.

Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready raised a 12th Man flag Friday morning from the foggy roof of the 605-foot Seattle landmark. The flag is 35 feet by 25 feet and will fly through the weekend.

McCready also wore a 12th Man jersey. The 12th Man recognizes fans who have made CenturyLink Field one of the loudest stadiums in the NFL.
