Remaining Seahawks playoff tickets sell out in minutes

First and second to get tickets after waiting since 10:00am Sunday Morning was Jim Borda, left, of Federal Way who was first and Craig Beckett of Ballard who was second.

Jim Borda, left, of Federal Way, and Craig Beckett of Ballard, were the first fans to get tickets to Sunday’s NFC Championship game. Both had lined up Sunday morning.

The 1,200 tickets that were available for the NFC Championship game against Green Bay didn’t last long Tuesday morning as they were all sold quickly after going on sale at 10 a.m.

The tickets were available for purchase only in person at the box office at CenturyLink Field as the team tried a new approach.

The team reported that there were already 700 people waiting in line last night for the tickets and expected that they would go quickly.

There were only a limited number of tickets available after 98 percent of the team’s 63,000 season ticket holders purchased playoff tickets.

The only tickets available now are on secondary markets such as Ticketmaster and StubHub.
